About USA Soldier

The idea for the USA Soldier logo started years ago during my first deployment to Saudi Arabia. I was only 20 years old at the time. My mission was to provide ECP coverage, supporting extra cover fire during operations. In the quiet moments between shifts, I would sit and sketch small drawings—nothing serious at the time, just something to pass the time.

One of those sketches was the idea of merging the words USA and Soldier together into a single design.

When my tour ended and I returned home, I showed the drawing to a tattoo artist. He liked the concept so much that he tattooed the design on my right inner forearm. At the time, it was just something personal—a symbol of service and pride.

Years later, in 2012, I was working as a government contractor in Afghanistan. One morning I was standing outside my tent at PB Luke, brushing my teeth and minding my own business. Anyone who has been there knows the place well. A soldier rushed past me on his way to a convoy heading out for patrol. As he walked by, he looked at my arm and said:

"Sir, that’s a bad-ass tattoo. If that was on a shirt, I would buy it. You might want to get that trademarked."

At the time, I didn’t think much of it.

Life moved on. Years passed. There were marriages, divorces, and many changes along the way. During one chapter of my life, someone close to me told me the idea was dumb. I let that negativity get to me and eventually let the dream go.

Then life changed again.

Fast-forward to 2022.

The woman who is now my wife noticed the tattoo on my arm. To her, it was just a tattoo at first. When I told her the story behind it—that it was actually my design and once an idea I had dreamed of turning into something bigger—she immediately believed in it.

She lit the fire again.

She encouraged me and pushed me to pursue the dream I had once set aside. For that, I thank her every day.

Today we are happily married and raising two beautiful baby boys. My wife often says she wishes she had met me earlier so she could have seen me in uniform. Hearing that means more than words can describe.

Looking back, I feel incredibly blessed. I’m grateful for the life I’ve lived, the opportunity I had to serve my country, and the privilege of being a father. To me, there is no greater honor than being called Dad and being known as a veteran.

After all those years, I finally decided to trademark the design and bring the USA Soldier logo to life as an apparel brand. Not just for me—but for anyone who has served, anyone who supports those who serve, and anyone who carries that same pride in this country.

My hope is that when someone wears this logo, it represents more than just a shirt. It represents service, sacrifice, brotherhood, and pride in the red, white, and blue.

There may be more people out there like me—people who served, people who believe in this country, and people who want to carry that pride with them every day.

If that’s you, then this brand is for you.

Thank you for being here, and I hope you enjoy wearing USA Soldier as much as I enjoyed creating it.
